Phil has been a professional golfer for 30 years. In the early years, he competed professionally, experiencing the pressures of tournament golf firsthand. During the last 20 years, Phil has been a professional coach, gaining international experience working in South Africa, the UK, and Switzerland. Phil started out as a technique focused coach but in the last 10 years, his interest shifted to improving all-round performance, with an emphasis on mental skills. Developing ideas in these areas has given Phil the opportunity to coach individuals and teams across a variety of different sports, including rugby, football, volleyball, swimming, and rowing.

Phil is focused on building relationships with clients and helping them explore the gap between potential and performance. A fundamental part of Phil’s work is to create an environment where individuals feel that they can belong and thrive, in doing so maximise the potential of the team and achieve sustainable improvement in performance and results under any kind of pressure.
