Sanjaya Ganlath is a visionary sports entrepreneur and co-founder of The Sports Manager LK, a pioneering athlete management firm based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. With a rich background in competitive basketball—from captaining his school’s under-19 team to representing Sri Lanka in the development squad—Sanjaya’s athletic roots run deep. His playing career was ultimately cut short due to an accident, but that setback spurred his pivot into sports management, where he found a new calling.

Drawing inspiration from leading global figures in sports management and armed with certification in athlete management, Sanjaya became Sri Lanka’s youngest and only certified athlete manager. Today, he is known for his holistic, athlete-centered approach, supporting emerging talent in athletics and basketball through training, conditioning, nutrition, mental resilience, and strategic career guidance.

Driven by the belief that every Sri Lankan athlete deserves a solid support structure, Sanjaya’s mission is to prevent unfulfilled potential due to a lack of guidance or opportunity. Together with his co-founder, Nimesh Gunasinghe—who handles back-end operations and branding—he is working to build national pathways and expand their firm's reach globally
