Testimonials:

Daniel Eddy

Sports Management Worldwide opens your mind to what really goes on inside a sporting organization, and provides you with the tools to pursue a career in your chosen sport, while giving you access to some of the contacts you may need along the way.

Adam Owens

I have enjoyed being a part of SMWW since I met Dr. Lashbrook my freshman year of college, 6 years ago. He gave me the confidence to show me that through his courses and great staff support I could live my dream job. I never want to stop learning through his courses as they're innovative, fun, real life, and they lead you to jobs, and not just a degree on a piece of paper.

Adam Sandham

The learning experience was brilliant - Dr. Lashbrook and his team have really help me in turning what was once a dream into reality.

Aivars Ziedins

This course has been both an awakening and an inspiration for me. Since I am a European, I never knew the way they played this game overseas. I was amazed at the amount of information about hockey that I hadn't known about. This course was one of my best experiences so far in the hockey world. I hope I can continue my journey after completing this course. This course introduced me to some new things and helped me to put the puzzle together, so to speak, on a number of issues. I gained a different outlook on the game and learned to train my eye much sharper than I ever did before. The weekly chats were invaluable. The Rink Net program was also enlightening. I was not aware there was a program that enabled you to follow every single player in the league. For the last eight weeks, I felt like a sponge who was soaking up every bit of information I could.

Alexis Bourque Bouliane

The student service was very effective, each time I had a problem, they answered my questions and solved it fast. The Rinknet software used to scout players was a very useful tool to work with. The readings give you a very good lookinto what the business side of hockey looks like.

Amy Noble

Account Executive, Trenton Thunder

Sports Management Worldwide informed us of openings before they became publicly available. We had an inside path to speak directly to decision makers. SMWW also helped us identify events where we were likely to find people who were hiring in the sport where we wanted to work. The skills I learned help my resume get noticed. For me, the result was that I had more than one offer from which to choose in the region of the country where I wanted to live in the sport where I wanted to work. I'd highly recommend the course.

Andrew Esten

One of the most important things I learned while in this class was how to be a successful sales person. That will probably be the way to get into an organization and I've become a lot more comfortable being able to talk to people I do not know because of this course. This has helped crack my shell for public speaking and improved it dramatically.

Andy Hollander

NCAA Division I Norfolk State University Athletic Department

It's been great working with Dr. Lashbrook, Tom Leip and Bret Polverosa. I was tired of my job and decided that it was time to have some fun with my career. I've always wanted to work in sports. This is the first schooling I've had in 25 years, and it's been a great experience.

Andy Smith

Director of Sales, D.C. United

We'll be keeping an eye out for graduates of Grip's new partnership with Sports Management Worldwide. I'm a big fan of Bret and Grip and if they say I need to meet someone for a potential position with our team, that person's resume will get noticed.

Brooks Madden

Newport News

Dr. Lashbrook has put together an accelerated program to jumpstart your career in the Sports Industry. Anyone looking to pursue a career in Sports, give SMWW a chance. You will not be disappointed!

Josh Jones

Milwaukee Brewers Video Scout

SMWW's Baseball GM & Scouting course taught me a lot of the little things that go into scouting and working in the baseball operations side of the front office, which would of been very difficult to learn outside of this class. Larry D'Amato and Dan Evans are great teachers and provided everything they know to me in just 8 weeks. They truly care about the future of everyone in the class. I want to thank both of them and Lynn Lashbrook, as all this material I leaned will help me immensely moving forward in my career.
